Cream Spinach and DŽIUGAS Hard Cheese Soup

  • Grated DŽIUGAS® Hard Cheese (40 g) 40 g
  • Onion (average) 0,5 vnt.
  • Spinach 1 kg
  • Potatoes 4 vnt.
  • Cream of balsamic vinegar Pagal skonį
  • Salt Pagal skonį
  • Freshly-ground black pepper Pagal skonį

Preparation

  1. Put spinach in a pot and stew.
  2. Then add potatoes with a pinch of salt and, finally – grated DŽIUGAS cheese.
  3. Stew for several minutes and add 500 ml water. Heat to boil and leave it for 15 minutes.
  4. Turn off the heat and let it cool.
  5. Then mash the soup until smooth, pour it back into the pot, add cream and stir.
  6. Serve sprinkled with cream balsamic vinegar and grated cheese.
